Special Feats: No Hitters, Perfect Games...

The Baltimore Mudhens throw a combined two pitcher no hitter against the Washington Bullets. Chuck Horten and Whitey Morandini combined to pitch 9 innings of no hit ball.

Beltin' Bill Cavanaugh blasts 3 homeruns in the first game of the series, then proceeds to bolt 2 more shots the very next game! Also, 4 of them were in 4 straight at-bats.4/18/50

Philadelphia's Max Riddle pitched the first 41 innings without giving up an earned run. In inning 42 he gave 2 to Chicago.I would say this is a record for this league that may stand for awhile.
