Linares, Little and Sayles were all from the same draft class.

All but Sayles for me. He falls into the very good but not quite HOF category for me.

All except sayles. Not a knock on a fine player, just not enough for me to say yes.

Tough crowd....Sayles was good only 45 guys in the hall with a better batting average. Out of those 45, 16 had less hits that was the metric I used.
Not his fault he was surrounded by Clay Moret and that was probably it. Throw him in my line-up from his prime and he scores another 200-300 runs in front of Ashby and Hosey. Or put him in Chicago and you get the same story.
