It seems to me that you are changing your original goal of simply making this team attractive to potential buyers and creating it into your own image. Is this incorrect?

Plus I think that if kaliayev is ready to sell then that is getting the team he's chaperoning closer to being ready for a potential to buy.
So again, IMO I guess you made your point in your second post and I'd say unless you're trying to remove another warm body from the league, either make an offer to acquire what you want from kaliayev or go about your SIM business as usual. Also, you should be thanking kaliayev for being a temporary member of the league, for he is helping the team he is chaperoning much more so than if it was left dormant.
I hate saying these things...but felt it was necessary to share with you to remain positive, thankful, and patient and let kaliayev run the team as he feels is best. Sorry in advance if my statements in this post are off target and perceived by you and/or others as negative. That is not my intention. But, I will be the first to thank kaliayev for chaperoning the team (even if I am just a chaperone, too).

ChuckMuncie, IMO your comment is unnecessary. To me it carries a negative connotation to it. Here kaliayev has taken over a team that did not have a live, warm body to add to the leagues competitiveness level and in the mean time try to make attractive for someone else to buy. Being in the same boat, I can tell you that it usually takes quite a bit of time before that happens. And from my experience, the teams that have finally sold are the ones that have a strong minor team that is going to be ready to compete.Plus I think that if kaliayev is ready to sell then that is getting the team he's chaperoning closer to being ready for a potential to buy.

Sorry for taking a couple of days to reply, work has been taking a lot of my time the last week.

As Carlyaz said younger teams seem to sell quicker. In my recent experience chaperoning this has proved true. This was the first time I tried to help out a league and figured that being competitive would work the best. Well after taking a bad franchise that had never made the post season and steering it into four trips and narrowly a fifth in five seasons into the playoffs the team has not sold. In the meantime I have guided two other teams that sold in less than two seasons by going to a youth movement. I figure a third I am managing will sell in the same two year frame as the rebuild is going nicely. Just the same, if the owners here are as offended as you seem to be by how I am running this franchise I will bow out.

I was simply asking a question, if this has offended you as it seems it has then maybe you are a bit too sensitive. Maybe the reason there are not more warm bodies is because there are overly judgmental owners who feel compelled to make accusations. Do not presume to preach to me. We are all here to have fun and not be talked down to or lorded over by commissioners, IMO.

Why start with a rhetorical question if it was so simple or innocent? If you had a concern why not ask it privately instead of doing so publicly? Seems you have an agenda or perhaps just trolling.[Edited on 7-30-2017 by kaliayev]

A rhetorical question would not have required an answer. I specifically asked you if you had changed your original goal of not trading away top players. You did a complete 180 when you put everyone up for trade. Your words were that the question was simple or innocent, I said it was simply a question. I swear all you guys who think your baseball gods or something, going on and on about your exploits and never allowing anyone else to just participate. You are not paying to play the teams when you are chaperoning, so just answer the question and shut up.
