Florida and San Francisco! shoo! scram! get away from me!January 31, 2017 at 04:15AM View BBCode
got you! you'll see me with 3 more in the L column tomorrow, i can't handle the high landFebruary 03, 2017 at 05:13PM View BBCode
tight race continues! SF still in it but I'mgoing to say FLA wins the playoff spot. I finish the year against SF, so unless one of us ssweepsthe other... itll be tough for 1 of us to make it. FLA finishes the year with a series against the first place team who has the luxury of resting EVERY single starter... so FLA will be playing a total 'B' team that probably would be dead last if played out a full season.February 03, 2017 at 05:28PM View BBCode
that is one good thing about not running away with the division for the first time in a few years, resting and unresting all these jerks is an annoying chore!February 04, 2017 at 12:28AM View BBCode
well well well, Criminals vs. Ballbusters, best of 3 for a playoff spot. won't be our first high-stakes encounter! Florida needs to sweep COL and a non-sweep in SF-BRO series to force a playoff.February 04, 2017 at 04:47AM View BBCode
Unreal! I get swept by Chicago (my home town btw). WTF! errrrrrrrrrrrFebruary 04, 2017 at 05:33PM View BBCode
If it comes down to it, FLA has the tie breaker over me.... And SF has the tie breaker over FLA based on season head to head...February 04, 2017 at 06:13PM View BBCode
If it ties, there will be a 1 game playoff.February 04, 2017 at 07:50PM View BBCode
well it was a fun year for the dirty old men of san fran. in hindsight we should've definitely overpaid for another bat. we still made a nice run at the end, coming back from 5-6 games down to be in it on the final weekend.February 05, 2017 at 12:10AM View BBCode
had at least a 4 gm lead most of the2nd half of the season and it boiled down to getting swept by Chicago, a team iIdominated all year, with 6 gms to go.February 05, 2017 at 12:18AM View BBCode
Knock yourselves out in that playoff game!! Great races in both leagues.February 05, 2017 at 01:08AM View BBCode

I was probably less surprised by the sweep than you were. I think the problem was you over-dominated us. We're not that horrible a team, we have a few solid starters in Matheny and Birmingham, two young stars in Kelly and Venafro and solid vets in Cardenas and Sakuri. To be 2-19 against any team prior to the final series was extreme, Abe just evened it out I guess.February 05, 2017 at 03:15AM View BBCode
rdvinski, actually those win are getting you the first pick in the lottery, if there is no injuries in the tie break game.February 05, 2017 at 06:32AM View BBCode
rdiv, wasn't trying to take anything away from your team... after going 19-2 against you for the year Iwas surprised iIcldnt even win 1 game, which would have helped me quite a bit.February 05, 2017 at 03:10PM View BBCode
No worries Satyr, we're all good. I would be frustrated too by the sweep at a crucial point in the year.February 06, 2017 at 12:09AM View BBCode
Highlanders-Black Sox, a historic series as it is the first ever AL championship for the Chicago franchise (though not if you include the previous installation).February 07, 2017 at 12:10AM View BBCode
congrats COL! back on top after only 13 years...very niceFebruary 07, 2017 at 12:53AM View BBCode
Thanks Paul. It was a fun season in the CPBL...some great races and a 7 game World Series. We needed every break we got this year. Good luck to all in the off-season!February 07, 2017 at 11:58AM View BBCode
Congrats Colorado! 109 wins in the regular season and more 8 in the post season.February 07, 2017 at 01:43PM View BBCode
