that they just can't stand? I used to just hate Fernando Marichal when he was pitching for Cincinnati....one thing Michael did right was that name. Colorado would go in and win 14-0 and 17-6 then Marichal came away with a 2-1 win.
My new least favorite player in the CPBL is...

It's pretty clear to me at this point, that guy is going to haunt the Highlanders with about 300 wins.

I sure as heck hope so! lol
You dealt him on the basis that he was a bust. He only converted 1 IC for you in the year before you dealt him to me.
I, on the other hand, didn't even pay attention to the developmental system at all. I just didn't educate myself enough before the deal. Had I known what I know now, I probably wouldn't have even made that deal. I quite honestly thought I got duped, but said oh well....I'll just take my chances.
He's converted very nicely for me, i hope he stays on that path!

Well, I think Satyr won GM of the year in '04 because of this trade.
But I understand the feeling. In '98 I traded three useless (for me) players for a very good pitcher, I though I was a genius. But one of this useless players bacame all-star Bob Dunbar. And everytime he faces me he gets like 3 hits and 3 SB, or a walk off home run or a great defensive play. For me he is the one:

Glad to know I did something right. Good luck to all of you.

I see 2 interesting questions here!
1) a player who seems to consistently outperform his skills...only against your team. blast from the past, a way back in the '70s, Pittsburgh had this catcher named Dusty Reidy. This dude didn't have power, didn't have contact, didn't have speed. He was a real 1-tool son of a bang. Back then I used to watch probably 95% of the games in Dynasty Vision, and I would get annoyed just to see him come up to the plate since I felt like he didn't belong on the field with the C's. Due to my bias (I also hated his 2-adjective-sounding name), I may be misremembering his efficiency, but it seemed like he always tore me up, and I'd be howling. He was a part of the '76 crew that bewilderingly swept me in the LCS, the only time I ever felt like I got "bundied". I'm stunned to see that he wasn't much of a factor in that one. But I still hold a grudge :)
2) the "one that got away"...Joe Timberlake is looking like a candidate. Florida catcher Bobby Schardley, who I traded for 5 stinking CPs, would look great in orange right now. But my final answer would have to be from another league, The Mick, when in my early days I was noob-robbed for a rookie who'd go on to hit about 400 homers despite D health.
