Barry thats a great list I looked that you had some of the new stuff like Knuckleball on there. Happy to see you had Long Gone on there one of my all time favorites and I would scold you about excluding Bull Durham but I find that movie has not held up so well for me.

I loved battered bastards and 42. knuckleball was interesting. quite a few I haven't seen, so I may have to check them out.

I never really cared for Damn Yankees, personally. is that blasphemous? I'd have had Bull Durham and For the Love of the Game. Also Major League- the original, obviously.I loved battered bastards and 42. knuckleball was interesting. quite a few I haven't seen, so I may have to check them out.

Fear Strikes Out the Jimmy Piersall story was an excellent movie.

I saw a pretty good movie a little while ago called Gibsonburg (released in 2012). It's the true story of an underdog baseball team which wins 6 games and looses 17 games in a regular season. Then in a magical way, they win 8 games to win state high school championship and the first team ever in any state to win a championship with a highest losing record.You can watch it here:
