Ace Rogers get the win.....

Rogers whom the Mint just picked up in a trade last week picks up his second win in extraordinary fashion.

Doug McCabe of the Tarts was mysteriously pulled after 7 innings of one hit ball.

Ed Russell comes in and gives up hit and allows two walks before serving up a meatball to pitcher Ace Rogers for a Grand Slam.... Philly wins 4-0

Arg! If I was losing, I definitely would have pinch hit for McCabe. But it was tied, wish I could have let him hit in that situatuion, but there's no way to distinguish in the prefs (is there?). Maybe if I say PH when Tying run is on deck, that would quash the PH in that situation?

Well, what are you gonna do. I certainly don't have any other pitchers who I would leave in a tight game instead of pinch hitting for them. Nice win for Ace, it's good to see a 28 yr old C+ guy get a career highlight before the talent inflation renders his ilk valueless.
