Hi,January 25, 2016 at 06:53PM View BBCode
(1) Admin might be able to (since this is almost like a merge) copy the good waiver wire players and then throw them into the initial amateur draft of the new league but other then that they will be deleted. I also asked about a possible draft but have not heard back yet.January 26, 2016 at 05:32AM View BBCode
An expansion draft is not possible; the players in dropped teams simply are not moved to the new league. (If the players were distributed it would cause talent inflation for a number of seasons until enough retirements happened for the league to balance itself.)January 26, 2016 at 01:09PM View BBCode
Can we return all of Seattle's players before this happens?January 26, 2016 at 03:25PM View BBCode
If possible, we should reverse all of Seattle's moves. The owner basically dumped anything good to the waiver wire and picked up a bunch of garbage. There was discussion about doing this, but I thought we said we weren't going to.January 26, 2016 at 03:27PM View BBCode
Are any chaperoned teams staying? I ask because I have been hemming and hawing about taking on permanently another team? Just no sure if I am looking to make it happen right now.January 26, 2016 at 04:01PM View BBCode
That will be a problem. I could pull back optioned players, but I can't assign players on the waiver wire to teams. So it would be up to Admin to do something here.January 26, 2016 at 05:04PM View BBCode

Well I guess ADMIN must have changed their mind about the waiver wire then because before I had asked them if they could copy the players from the waiver wire over to the new league and they said "NO"January 26, 2016 at 10:44PM View BBCode

We have already lost a few days and what happens with one time payment accounts like mine ?? Surely you can add time to those.

I guess the main Hogs here are Kevin Murphy (P), Mark Miller and Don Smith (batters), these 3 are pretty good talents.

Not sure why this is not possible, can you explain ? If we took another route in that the 8 teams leaving and had an expansion draft for them there would be no problems. All those players get put into a draft for the 8 new owners. So why couldn't this be done without 8 new owners for the rest of the league ?? It does not seem to be a great leap from an expansion draft. As for the talent inflation I doubt it would be that great as it is a draft and obviously the higher ranked teams draft near the bottom so it would mostly help to even the league out as the bottom teams would benefit the most.
However if ADMIN reverses all of the recent moves by the owners of the teams being deleted then that puts this point to bed as there would be no need to acquire any waiver wire players as they would all suck.

If there are only the non chaperoned teams staying, then no problem. Maybe another time

seriously it has been over 1 week and no teams have been deleted, no players on the waiver wire put back. From this point of view nothing has been done.February 02, 2016 at 11:35AM View BBCode
