Thanks to Vick for launching the merger convo. Admin Chris is helping us go through the necessary steps. He says:
"I need to go through the leagues, look for city duplicates, smooth over the rule differences, and then process the actual merge. Owners who are in duplicated cities will need to pick a new available city. If neither team volunteers to move, whichever owner has had his team longer gets to keep his city."
Here are the LBLJ owners that may need to change cities. Would you post here what city you'd like or if you'd like to negotiate with DVL owner for city rights.

I have had the KC team here for 95 seasons. Suggestion: Why not have the teams with longest seniority choose whether to give up their city. I prefer to stay with KC.

Florida is unowned in the DVL so i should be able to stay in Florida

In the NL we have 9 active teams. Cincy, LA and Philly all are duplicates. The longest tenured owners would keep their teams, the other 3 would choose between 1 AL city and 2 NL cities to make 8 from each league.
Does that make sense?
I posted this over in the DVL as well, If anybody sees mistakes please yell.

All I have time for right now is a quick glance but I see we have 5 AL teams in the DVL and 2 AL teams in the LBJL. I see one duplicate AL city which is KC so whoever is the longest tenured owner should be able to keep KC, the other one would choose a new AL city.In the NL we have 9 active teams. If the Philly team in the DVL doesn't volunteer to change, I'll take any major east coast city not named New York. Or I'd take a Chicago team[Edited on 1-1-2016 by co_daddy]

I would prefer to keep Cincy, I do agree that the most tenured team should have the right to keep that squad.Dreski

Wow ! I just realized that KC from the DVL has 166 seasons under his belt. So much for my measly 93 seasons. I guess my next order of business is to pick a new team. What is available?

Other than pausing the league, it doesn't seem that admin has done a single thing to facilitate this merger.

Admin has said they are dedicating today (Sunday) to our merger. Lets hope so.Pages: 1
