Even their final stat lines are remarkably close, they would be even closer if Aker did not play one more year than Jeter.

Today was most likely the last game for our league's version of Jeter, Phil Aker. It was fitting that his last was a playoff game. Throughout his career the similarities are quite stunning.Both are middle infielders that won the ROY, multiple GGs, and 4 WS titles.
Even their final stat lines are remarkably close, they would be even closer if Aker did not play one more year than Jeter.

I might add that Phil Aker is now the all-time TML leader in career doubles.Well done!!
