It seems impossible to trade for a catcher in this league...can someone prove me wrong? I'm not even looking looking for an all star caliber guy...someone halfway decent or with the potential to be...flexible with what I can offer...if nobody works with me, then I'm going to start the C+ guy I have...and I don't want to hear any of the tank talk that may come with it...

Catchers are scarce here. I had hack Michaelmas as a B+ os29 and no one would offer me anything for him.

C+ guys it is. Maybe next draft....can't mentally give up first round picks, which will more than likely be top 5, for B or B+ catchers...

I try to take catchers in the draft in the later rounds and hang on to them to develop.

I tried to get 2 catchers in the last draft, but I ranked them near 25...I couldn't justify setting it up so that the D+ 19 year old was any higher than 25 in my rankings.

I took a look at my draft rankings, I had the d+ catcher at 34, and a C catcher at 25. Landed neither. I was very happy with my 20 pick thou getting the C overall but C/C- split pitcher. I think he'll be OK over time...esp with this minor league system...[Edited on 11-28-2014 by ryang]

How the vaca ryang, u were to DisneyWorld? Braves spring training is in Orlando and went for a couple weeks back in '03. What team you follow?

I did the Disney Cruise and Disney World for 8 days. Sure beats being in 30-degree Maryland! Never have taken 2 weeks away from work before...definitely worth it!!! But definitely took a while to save for it...As for the team I follow, Yankees all the way!
