After I traded my closer to Atlanta I picked up this guy from waivers.

He will be better than any draft pick past #2 or 3 this year.
Oh, and sorry Atlanta. I really do hope the guys I trade you work out, but they have been very average. Some looked to have superstar potential but just haven't panned out.

SERIOUSLY! I have had a high enough pick to get a decent player even in the not-so-deep drafts that we have had. But this draft is one of the worst I have seen. The waiver wire may have more talent!After I traded my closer to Atlanta I picked up this guy from waivers.

The draft may not have been deep, but this guy is the best offensive prosepct I've ever seen. If his gloves develops well - and it should - he could be the first A+ player I can remember. He's so good that even if he's a bust he'll be decent.
I'm buying up his rookie card in droves

Agree. He has everything in place to be a great one. Health is a big factor which he has. Course ABE has a way of mucking things up. Often times it wont let players peak across the board (meaning A's or A+'s at pwr/contact). It will be interesting to see him develop.

He'll be one of the best in terms of OPS. A overall is probable, but A+ overall won't happen because of how improving works. The closer to 100 a stat gets, the harder it is to improve. A+ stats could be tough because of bundling as well, but it will still be a hell of a player, a la Jeter, unless you have a smaller stadium :)Pages: 1
