Much of the credit for this championship must go to the team's previous owner - Greenandgold - who put together most, if not all, of the pieces here. You left behind a solid nucleus - so this championship is partially yours as as well!
It's nice to bring the trophy back home to the American League -- after the N.L.'s stranglehold on it for the past 12 years!

Wow! What a great series! And an epic game 7! 16 inning affair! Congrats to you, Montreal for a fantastic World Series and never giving up. Down 3games to 1, the feisty Screaming Mounties fought back to force a game 7 and then came back in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game off of one of the most heralded closers in the game in Morris Hadley.
