I've received a trade offer and I need your opinion...
My player is Steve Rogers(untouchable) SP, 23 yrs... A/B/B+
Against...
A SP, 19 yrs... B-/B/D
Draft Pick RD2
He wants a future star in the league who will be in the major soon... against a pitcher with D of control who will never play in the major and we find this kind of player on the waiver... plus a draft pick with no value for my team.
For me... it's very near of cheating, isn't it?
Will I send this horrible proposition to Tyson or not?
Am I an idiot or an imbecile after 25 completed seasons?
An unhappy owner...

Well, Rogers isn't that good, but it's still a bad offer.
But why would you send it to Tyson? Sending bad trade offers isn't against the rules.

That is sort of a sad effort. I'd offer a first for him maybe with an additional prospect. Is he available?
And no, Claude, this sort of offer isn't cheating. If the two of you had discussed making lopsided deals like this so that one team can repeatedly win while the other rebuilds, and then switching roles at the exact same time, that's cheating. There's nothing to bring to the Admins here. This is just a bad offer.
Don't be mad. This sort of offer should make you laugh. And be sure to remind this owner of what he thinks a B 23 year old with B+ control is worth the next time HE is dealing one.

:puzzled: Not saying i looked but i might have to see who had a 19yr old pitcher with those ratings.........:puzzled: Just wondering why they are on the roster. And if they are going to be worth half the pitcher rogers is going to be, why don't they have CP's on them.

Before everyone goes crazy looking for this pitcher...He is on my roster and the offer was from me. I really don't see the big deal. It was a terrible offer and I wasn't expecting Chicago to take it. It was an opening offer to see if Rodgers was even available. As it turns it out he wasn't. Just a simple "No thanks" or a counter would of suffice. I have gotten terrible offers before that made me laugh, we all have, maybe worse than this one... all you do is decline it. Imagine if we post all the bad offers we have received..
Do what you will with this ... I really don't care...:D

You have nothing to feel bad about. Most guys, including me, send out initial offers that ask for much more than we expect to settle for. It's called negotiating. When I get one I usually send a counter. If it is waay out in left field, I just decline and type "LOL" in the remarks.
