Hi guys...res98
Long Time SD owner. Played in just about every kind of League we have here.
Single father of 2
Divorced 3x...lol
Chef
Civil War freak...no reenactments though.
Live near Gettysburg
I wanted a League that was different. This is the 1st 18 Game an Day League and also the 1st League to use the "Excessive" Injury system. These 2 things will create NEW challenges than you have had before. Because of this, I don't think this is a League for New Players, it's more for Veteran Owners that have already been bloodied by ABE (lol).
I do want to be clear. The Rules I have come up with are in effect until the 1st renewal. We can discuss them before the League Starts Playing and If you can convince me of the error of my ways we will change something BEFORE WE START playing. Once the 1st game is played there will be NO Rule alterations made....NONE until renewal. If you can't abide by this...this League isn't for you.
GL everyone.

emidas here...
longtime SD player of about 4 years now since I joined my first dynasty league.
College student studying business, however I also write short stories and am working on a novel that I really hope to get published (my first dream has always been to be an author).
I currently work as a Database Admin in a local accounting firm to pay my way through college and my odd hobbies.
Live near Baltimore now, though didn't always. Am an avid Tampa Bay Rays and Washington Redskins fan.
I've been in many different leagues, from edit leagues (MBL) to the bracket league (OCL), and was one of the first owners to join a league that used the number system (FRL was the 2nd league to incorporate the number system, I believe).
Good luck to all,
Michael

Wow, this has everything I want... number ratings, 18 gpd, extra injuries, no CP trades... bless you res98 for this rule set.
I'm me. I play in all the non-private 15 gpd leagues, although now that an 18 gpd league exists, I may start lobbying for those instead. Bigger better faster more is the kind of action I want.
If you want to know anything else about me, just ask.
And if the Washington Senate Turds is offensive, please tell me.

I'm Chris
I've been playing for about a year and a half now, and this will be the 6th league I've joined (but the 5th I'm currently in, as the Sandy Koufax league folded a few months back, how I miss it). I'm very competitive but not largely social, though I do push myself to try and interact.
I'm a 26 year old proposal Analyst for a defense company living with my girlfriend in the SF Bay Area. I'm an avid A's, Niners, and Warriors fan, so I understand the pain this injury system might bring to my soul.

I am a retired High School teacher from Chicago. I cannot count the number of leagues I have been in, but 11 right now. Always in for new things so we will see how this works.
The players all seem to have problems,if they have good ratings they have horrible health which could really hurt here. Glad to see no CP trades. That is the way it should be.

Hi all,
I'm 42 years old and from New Hampshire (though I was born and brought up in Connecticut). I write embedded diagnostic software for computer network products.
I'm a pretty big sports fan, my pro teams are the Red Sox, Patriots, Whalers, and Bullets (and I do also follow the C's a bit too). For college sports it's the Boston U. Terriers (hockey) and UConn Huskies (basketball and football).
I've been playing SimD for about two years and this will be my 11th active league plus I have retired from 7 others. I really like this rule set so we'll see what happens.
Good luck all

Hi im Bobby an I think I'm now 32, This is my first 18 gpd league so if I seem incompetent it is because i am so new at it.
I like the Gators, Bucs, Reds, and Rays in that order. I graduated from Missouri State and am slowly working towards my masters in Political Science at Virginia Tech while managing the sales force for a medium sized web site.
Just to answer a few questions those of you that dont know me might ask, I dont really like the cardinals that much, but it was the name I got stuck with when we switched to one login and yes, I am the one who "accidentally" shot my wife and got away with it.
I look forward to being the first one kicked out of the league and wish you all the best of luck.
oH, I own the Cleveland Team and will trade anyone at anytime without reason :saint:

addendum to my intro
res is old and cranky
emidas is obviously cool because he is a Rays fan
Jughead should accept more of my trades
Chris should talk more and accept more of my trades
Andy doesn't like tankers but is a cool old man like res, just not as cranky or old
Rich (aka Hooty) needs to get over the Whalers moving
Cardinalfarm needs to be quiet and not be so judgemental.
Thanks, Bobby

Hi all,
I am retired - my last position was as a Data Base Administrator
My main interest these days are my 6 grandkids.
I have been a SimD regular for 4 years, after a year learning
in Single Seasons. This is my first Private league and first
with more than 6 gpd. I would never have joined a
9 or more game per day league except I heartily approve of all
the rules.
Good fortune to all in the draft and coming seasons.

I am "unfortunately" a fan of all things Tampa since i grew up in Brandon and went to Bloomingdale HS. I am more of a reds fan because of their spring training in Plant City, but just like i suffered through the sam wyche years as a bucs fan while there, I have suffered through the wade boggs year(s) and such from afar. I know the rays will never be really competitive unless there is realignment, but it is nice to see them doing well.
I also like the colts because of Dungy and have season tix in Indy so i guess i have been on that bandwagon for a while too :D

Hey all.
Guess I'm still considered a "newbie", with only six months of playing time. 39 years old, live in St. Louis, MO. Graduated from Missouri State as well. Looking forward to this one.

i'm gonna go for the record next year although i may get back to back 8 win seasons if I can lose 12 more which will certainly be worth adding to my sig!

I hope you enjoy my #5 pick in that draft. I have to admit that that was a smart trade offer.

Howdy all, well most of you guys here know me as I have been around for 3 years and have played in probably 25 leagues. I have been reducing my leagues for awhile now and had no intention of joining anymore until I saw this 18gpd league and just could not refuse joining it.
I am usually the oldest owner in any of my leagues at 67 and am retired living full time in a 36ft motorhome. My wife and I spend a lot of time at our Reno Sagebrush Ranch, 22 miles north of Reno when it is NOT winter. When it is too cold, we head South to Ventura County to visit 4 of our 6 kids and 8 of our 10 grandchildren. We don't travel too much these days with the gas prices but we have spent 19 years as modern day gypsies and have "been there, done that" so we are not as anxious to travel as we once were.
I am looking forward to an exciting league with many challenges.. Bryce GM Pittsburgh
