I have a list of about 20 characters in my head so far. My plan is to also theme every one of my draft classes from a specific book, so that my 1951 draft class will likely be Catch-22, and have Yossarian, Major Major, etc.

I guess i will rename all my players after SD members after i run out of AE's. either that or think of anohter theme altogether.

Furious i hope you join.

Also, all major leaguers have to be renamed, and in every draft you have to immidiatly rename at least the first 2 rounds of draft picks.

And Jojo, it would kind of suck if you ran out in the middle and switched. It is better to just have one for pitchers, one for hitters, and not have to change it.

Yeah...put me down tentatively for the NY (NL) team. If you can get enough solid commitments, I'll almost certainly go in, assuming the other rules of the league aren't insane.

Oh, my theme will also be music. Punk, new wave and post punk bands (using the definitions of those terms somewhat loosely). As long as I'm not overlapping with someone (and it seems unlikely) I'll never run out of people to use.

After you start playing private league you will probably get bored in your dynasty leagues, so you should drop those and just join this. We need all the off-topicers we can get, we will be chosen sooner then.

You are probably right, I was getting a little bored when I just had 1 Dynasty team. Im dropping the CObb team after this year and I have the Max Carey team for at least 4 months. But I have faith in not getting board by the Max Carey league though becaue there are some interesting characters in there(Fullacrap, Dogbelly, Baskets)
