HORRIBLE BASEBALL GAME!

May 22, 2007 at 03:04AM View BBCode

Okay so my team is playing the best team around the city. The team is 5-0 and were 4-1. These kids are throwing mid to uper 80s. It wasnt that they were hard for me to face but i had a rough night. Started with batting number 5 and first pitch getting hit right in my ass! It wasnt that bad besides i have a big black but now but what else is new right. Then my second atbat i foul one off my ankle and then stuck out. and my third at bat i poped out to deep center. Then my last atbat i get up in the bottom of the 7th ties 9-9 with runners on 2nd and 3rd. I ended up getting hit by probably a 87 mile an hour fastball right in the damn elbow. I can barely even move it. I still played because i wanted to be on the field when we won which we ended up winning but still. If only i had a camera i would show you this. My elbow is about twice its size right now and i cant even move it. Dont you wish you could be me haha

Maybe he and Jennie Finch can get together for a little fast pitch if he starts to feel man enough.

The funniest part about this statement, besides "big black but," is imagining where the punctuation should go.

Peyton, as you get older your athletic accomplishments become less impressive.

I hit a 23 mph slow pitch softball to the fence Sunday night. I remain sore from the running required to get my fat ass to second base.

In my experience, the least athletic people dominate in softball. So, if you aren't athletic, then yeah, you'll dominate.

drunkengoat you would have laughed your ass off if you saw this game. By the third time getting hit it was like a joke. But my elbow might actually be really screwed up. The sweeling isint going away and i still cant move it.

Believe me, I'm not laughing at the pain. Know all about it. When I was 12, the two hardest throwers in the league were lefties, and they loved... LOVED... throwing inside to my left-handed ass.

Steele was the last name name of the top cat, edging out another kid named Dykes by a couple steps. Steele found it necessary to pop my wrist in an early part of the year game (We would face him in the championship, where I logged a bases-loaded double and a lucky-ass-centerfielder-was-standing-where-I-hit-it line drive for a little sweet retribution for thinking he was "unhittable.") and Dykes plowed some cheese into the right side of my ribcage in another game.

I don't think I've been hit more than once in the same game though. You should call ESPN.

Or Craig Biggio.

When I was 12 I got hit too. I had a big BLUE but what else is new?...
Hit a home run next at bat. Learned that pitcher not to touch my blue but.

I was always scared of the ball when I was little and so my dad told me to just not get freaked out or something. Very next game, three at bats, three free trips to first base.

Probably. I kind of think he's disappointed when he says something dumb and I don't respond though.

I know I'm disappointed when you don't dole out snark to all who need it.

hahaha

Yeah so last night i made up for last game and had my best game of the season. I batted 5th again and went 4 for 5. A double, bunt for hit, and 2 singles. We started the game losing 6-0 after the first inning. Then in the 4th inning i got a double to start a 4 run 2 out rally. and then got up again to get a single in that inning for that 4th run. Then by the top of the 7th(last inning for us) we were up 8-6 and the coaches son comes into pitch(Mistake) and he gives up 3 runs so we are down 1 going into the bottom of the 7th. I get up with bases loaded and 2 outs. Full count, foul tipped 2 balls, then a liner right up the middle for 2 runs to score and to win the game.

I was so freaking happy!!!! haha never got a game winning hit like that before. felt good

Congrats. I've never logged the game-winning hit, but I have scored the game-winning run.

I've gotten the game-ending strikeout. Does that count for anything?

You didn't have any at bats.
