Believe it or not, it's been 39 seasons since we had a world series re-match. Back in 2019 & 2020, TOR and CIN went at it. Cincy won both series as part of their great 5 consecutive titles from 2017-2021.

PIT and CLE will battle it out again in the 2TL World Series! I figured my other team, WAS, would have a much better shot at making the WS. I almost wrote off the Pirates at one point in the season, but they somehow managed to get past Florida and Cincy. That's not easy to do!

And here I thought the Pirates were selling off and rebuilding this season....congrats to both!
