Congratz to all play off teams

What a crazy year!Only 6 teams above .500 & all of these 100+ wins. I can't believe that I had 111 wins and did not make it. Oh well, Good luck to the four who did make it. LA, you and I should have a consolation game at least. Great season.

You had 116 wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I've ever seen 116 miss the playoffs.:o

I just checked the boxscore. Chicago used 8 pitchers to win game 6. That's a lot of pitchers.

It's also the highest scoring series I can remember. Chicago has scored 45 runs and SF has scored 42 runs in the first six games. That;s an average of more than 7 runs a game...per team!

Congrats Chicago!
I was glad to see it go 7 games, but with both teams having pretty good pitching, to see all those runs was crazy!
I was also surprised by the number of errors - 7 for SF and 6 for Chi. I guess everyone was feeling the pressure! That is double the average for both teams (~1 per 2 games) during the season.
