I've done this for all my other leagues where at least one player has reached 500 HR's, so I hope you don't mind me putting this out there.
A few FAQ's I've gotten from other leagues:
Q: What other Leagues have you done this for?
A: The first one was the Bruce Sutter League, which I started in the 1976 Season. THAT was a pain in the butt, because I hadn't figured out to use Excel, and did EVERYTHING on paper. Then I did one for the Pete Rose League, and since there has only been one All Time HR leader since 1954, it was very easy. I did one for the Jesse Burkett League finally figuring out how to do it using Excel, but bumped down the number to 400, because there's only three guys as of 1970 that have hit 400+. It was much simpler using Excel. This is my fourth league I have done this for, and it took about three hours.
Q: Hey, the page hasn't been updated for (X units of time). When can we expect an update?
A: I try to update it at least twice a season, and every off season. If no one shows any interest in reading it or keeping me informed about potential changes (which hasn't happened yet) I might update less frequently. My motivation is helped immensely if the moderator stickies the page (hint hint). :)
Anyway, thanks for reading, and hope you enjoy the list.

Kenn is turning out to be an excellent addition to our league. He is almost inspiring me to go get the gold gloves current.

If if I was more savvy with OpenOffice I would have these up to date. I need to be able to export only players with 1000 innings and sort them by the formula. It would make my life much easier. So if anyone knows how to get excell/openoffice to sort a group by a given value please let me know. Thanks.

If there included a "probably would have hit 500 homeruns" category, I think this guy should top it:
Swat
With a name like that, he was just meant to hit homeruns. An unfortunate trade ruined his career though.

Noah Phoenix, the sole member of this club, also added to his soon-to-be HOF career earlier today when he notched his 3,000th career hit and in the process created the 3,000 hit - 500 homer club.

That, and D health. And getting drafted at OS25. And being no good against lefties. Otherwise, though......:D

He was drafted at 23, and he can hit lefties alright. Plus the health hasn't really affected him, Todd just never played him! Look at him so far.

1958 - 1933 = 25, bro.
Health affects overall production. It's easier to hit more HR when you're getting 650 AB's per year than it is with 500. Swat's pretty good, but I'm just saying he never had a chance at 500 career homers. No offense.:)

DJ is correct. I didn't do Swat any favors though. This is a good thread.

As the original GM of Diego Castillo, I will take full credit for his development and domination. He is truly a man among boys.

Diego Castillo rises ever higher, but at age 37, will he stick around long enough to hit 36 more and catch John Montgomery?
Meanwhile, Bert Kremers needs only 15 more to join the club, and Pete Sullivan breaks 400.

As long as Kremers doesn't retire (and given he was an All-star this year, I see no reason he should) he's pretty much a mortal lock to make 500. Pete Sullivan needs 92 more, so unless he plays to age 39, it looks bleak.

Realistic. He's got a decent enough lineup around him. The only question is does he get the 112 needed next season, or does he have to wait until 1974?
