DJ, I would feel much more loving if you didn't sweep my team so soundly. Kozpan has done a good job of giving himself a solid core of players around the same age. I hope it gets him a few playoff shots.

Some students of mine went to see him here in Portland last year and were extremely pumped about it. It's funny to see high schoolers all jazzed up about fiscal responsibility.

Oh, and Tibbs is still available too. Considering I just got a 1st for Castillo, I think it'snot too much to ask for the same for a pitcher of the same age/rating. I'd need a decent mentor to replace him, too.

No, Padman, no! You did the right thing! Castillo is just barely below A overall (he was last season) and he'll help your team considerably. Just like Conzelman and Tibbs would.

Never said Tibbs = Castillo. Simply stated that Tibbs could help a team just like Castillo will. And that considering how inflated the value of pitching is in this league, an A- pitcher should be considered of equal value to an hitter that is at the top of A-. I've learned the lesson well, pitching is more expensive in this league than hitting. And if I just got a 1st for Castillo, it stands to reason I MIGHT get a 1st for Tibbs. Probably not, but hey, not every player you try to trade is a future Cy Young winner either. Based on over inflated pitching value, I think expecting similar returns for similar rated players of similar age is not at all ridiculous.
Yeah, as IF I have any kind of power over what ABE does. If I did, my team in the Bruce Sutter league wouldn't have lost 5 players to injury in a three week span during the height of a playoff race.
ABE hates me, and will do whatever is in his power to guarantee that I fail. So pray I don't root for your team, or they will die in a plane crash.
